Application Deadlines
Spring Semester
- December 1, preferred deadline
- Rolling Admission – Notification will be sent once the file is completed and reviewed.
Fall Semester
- December 1, 1st early action application deadline
- January 15, 2nd early action application deadline
- March 2, priority deadline for regular admission

How to Apply
Traditional undergraduate students only.
- Submit the Online Application.
- You may also download a PDF version of the application.
- Submit the Pastoral Reference.
- Submit the Transcript Request Form.
- Students desiring financial aid should also file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The priority deadline to apply for financial aid is March 2.
Note: Preference is not given to either submission method.
International students
Please do not fill out the online application, you can download the International Student Application or email admissions@vanguard.edu and request an International Student Application packet.
Re-Admission
Former VU students interrupting their educational program by not registering in any subsequent Spring or Fall semester must submit a simplified “Application for Re-Admission” (with a $15.00 application fee) to the Undergraduate Admissions Office. If the length of absence exceeds two consecutive semesters, the student will be required to meet any new graduation requirements which may be in effect at the time of re-admission. Students who have completed twenty-four (24) units at VU and have formerly declared a major, after being out of attendance for no more than two consecutive semesters, may return finding that the requirements have not changed.
